Composition
Patrick studied music at the University of Bristol (BA(Hons), 2006) followed by a MA in Composition of Music for Film & Television at Bristol, completed the following year. He has studied acoustic composition with Andrew McBirnie, Geoffrey Poole and John Pickard, going on to study electronic and film music with Neal Farwell, Guido Heldt, Stephen Faux and Francis Shore.
He has written music for piano, small ensemble and orchestra, set texts for solo voice and choir including poems by A.P. Herbert and Lyndall Henning, and has also composed electroacoustic and electronic music for BULO and The British Touring Shakespeare Company.
